I'm renting and trying to keep my son frim driving into the house. I want to temporarily glue down a wheel chock for him to park against but can't think of a removable adhesive. Any ideas??

Is he parking in the garage or in the driveway ?

Driveway between the garage doors.

If you clean everything well, some heavy duty double-sided tape would probably work. You could also use tile thinset, which can be chipped off. Have you tried just placing a parking stop where it needs to be? These things are designed not to move easily, as the tire puts weight down onto it before pushing it. How much of a maniac is your son? I mean, a couple of bricks should do the trick unless he's hell-bent on driving through the wall...

Whatever adhesive you put down on the concrete will almost certainly leave a permanent stain, unless your drive is already sealed. It will, to some degree, weather but will be apparent for years to come.

Just fasten it down with a couple of hilti shots, or even concrete nails.
When you move fill the holes with caulking or pound the fasteners flush with the concrete.

One other choice, if you don't mind the holes is to use concrete anchors. The anchor will remain after you remove the wheel blocks but, they can be fairly small. A 3/8" anchor will only be about 5/8" in diameter. Plus, if for some reason you need them later, they will always be there. I have some 3/8" zinc anchors if you want, can even help you install them. Let me know.

He might not mind the holes but his land lord will.

Well, that would appear to be a problem then. If that is the case the temporary curbs that jayhawk suggested is probably the best bet.

Yeah, the landlord won't like the holes or glues. Hot glue doesn't work in the heat, it just becomes too. My boy isn't a maniac but he's a new driver that has to park within 6-8 inches of the house so he's not blocking the sidewalk. Tiny driveway. May have to fab up a plywood and railroad tie parking block to test with.

Maybe try some tech out, back up camera on front grill sends video to monitor so he can see before contact, $30? Something like this? @LandCruiserPhil has a WiFi based unit that send image to iPad, that could be an option too.
