Looking for a good set of Spiders and all the little bits and pieces. I took a lunchbox locker out of the rear end of my 75 fj and need the stocker gears to put back in. Let me know how much...

I may trade the locker straight up....

Hi All:

IIRC, when installing a "lunchbox locker" like a Lockrite in a TLC diff all one removes is the side gears. The side gear shims are used with the Lockrite parts.

If you can't find a pair of fine-spline side gears I may be able to help you.

Like Steve said (Poser) you need the block but you also need the spider gears that on on each end or the that block. The only parts you use with the lockright are the side shims, the shaft and the special bolt that holds the shaft in the carrier. The rest of the parts are removed. I still have the pieces from when I install a set of lockrights but these were from a earlier coarse spline axles so the side gears wouln't do you any good.
