The PO decided to take a sawzall to the wheel openings (or it might have been a hatchet) so all I really want is enough of the bed sides with the the beaded wheel openings to patch back in. Any help would be apreciated. Located in VA.

I've got a decent bed, but the wrong coast. shipping probably won't be worth it.

Puppies,

Thanks for the offer but I agree that shipping would kill the deal. It looks like I'll have to make some tube flares.

Thanks

I think I've got most, say 95%, of the wheel lip for the passenger side in good shape. I also have the drivers side however about half of it is very rough. The rough part is the part to the rear of the bed. I'll try to get some pics this weekend. Hopefully I didn't throw them away. :p

These are worse than I remember. When you are old, your memory is the second thing to go...

This is the passenger side. The fatter part is actually the part toward the rear of the bed and the thinner part is the part towards the front of the bed. Pictures show outside, inside, and then one from the end of the fatter side (rear). This piece is very solid metal but as you can see its not the whole lip. Also the lower part of the lip os also cut off, I think less than an inch.

Here 's the drivers side. the mangled part is the rear of the bed. The metal is pretty solid but as you can see, it is torn, and way out of correct shape on the rear half. The front half is pretty good expect for one small area (dent in lip).

Couple more of the inside. And the last one is from the end (outside) showing the worst (rear) end.

Its hard to get good pics because of the different colors and the sanding marks reflecting the light differently. The metal is solid but it is very rough in shape, especially the rear section of this one.

Believe it or not, it actually looks good compared to the way I got it. I finally decided to just cut off this section of bed and replace it with new metal. I'm not keeping the original wheel wells on mine so this is what I have left.

Miker,

Thanks for the pics but these look like they're beyond my skill level. I'll show them to a friend who does body work to see if he can work with them.
