Wanted: 2F crankshaft

If anyone has a parts motor, or a crankshaft they are willing to part with, I just got the call that the one I sent off to get machined for my 2F for my FJ55 is junk... giant crack in the #6 rod bearing journal, so no good.

I think I need a crankshaft from a 9/73 and newer F or 2F. In otherwords if the oil filter is on the RH side of the motor, it will work.

Would love to find one locally, as shipping the 80lb monster is not cheap...

is there an easy and quick way to tell the difference between an F and a 2F crankshaft? I have one - dont know what it's from or what shape it's in. Will a picture help?

sure. From what I gather now, any crank that has the male threaded stub on the end for the giant pulley/balancer nut will work? Basically any F/2F with a large nut holding the balancer on is good to go...

heading to mammoth this weekend- you need to wait another week or two. maybe a cruiser q in the next weekend or two for beckers send off
