Well I kinda swore I wouldn’t post a wanted thread but I’ve been looking for quite a while now and still haven’t found the trusty steed for me yet.
As the title states I am looking for a 1993-1997 FZJ80 or LX450 in the Seattle Area, willing to travel and not afraid to pay to ship the right vehicle. No rust. Lockers preferred obviously.
My all in budget is 13k with a lift and tires. Planning to take a 3000 mile trip through Utah so needs to be in good standing in terms of maintenance or leave me some room in price to do HG if it’s coming up, radiator, etc.
Last thing is I want to keep the rig at or under 7’ (ground to racks) for garage clearance. 7’1” is absolute max.
Any questions please let me know!
Looking for a general light overlander that I could daily maybe half the time for fun (I know it’s impractal and I don’t care). It’s mostly going to be used as a ski vehicle, backroads and the Utah trip. Paint and interior needs to be at least half way decent. No snorkels please.
