Hi all, I am looking to sort out some things on my 62. I need to replace a cracked evaporator case, replace the dash pad, pull the steering column and fix the column u joints, so I figured that while I was at it, i would replace the dented lower dash panel. Question is- how much an effort is this going to be?

Not too bad . Take pictures if you do not have a photographic memory. Lots of small bolts and screws. Patience and time is your friend . I use a small cordless impact with 1/4” drive extensions and wobbly metric sockets . When I had mine out I cleaned up layers of stereo wiring and grime. Look at new seals for the heater and ac ducts/ boxes too.
