Here's the last of it - if you look at the top of the 'tire wall' there's an extra sitting on it...every day after filming, these tires are moved so the locals can get to their shops.woodbury coffee.webp

Oh yeah and I met the kid from the show in May but didn't have a camera with me.

but I did run into the guy that plays jason in Friday the 13th and got a picture of that..... I think I should play him in the next movie

actually in most zombie boards and circles it is estimated that upwards of 90% of the population would actually die and be eaten before actually turning into zombies so you wouldn't have to worry about that much...... which is why I like the walking dead because there isn't 6 million zombies mulling around Atlanta in the scenes. Now if you are talking about night of the living dead where every dead person on the planet suddenly comes back to life then that is a different story and another problem all together.

An island would work but i'd feel way too cut off if more supplies were needed.

One of the biggest problems with WWZ is the fact that the author claims the zombies walk on the ocean floor which is why islands in his opinion wouldn't work. What he fails to realize is the pressure would pop a zombies head and then they would be dead.... he caught a lot of flack for that at many appearances.

They could float but then most likely would end up with the big garbage patches that are floating in the pacific and atlantic oceans......

a silenced 22 rifled and pistol would be my weapon of choice... gets the job done and silently as to not bring attention to yourself.... also a shotgun for stopping power in case you get surrounded and need to blast an escape route. Since resources would be scarce and you can make more 22 bullets than other higher caliber weapons it would also be the logical choice. But for the first few months to a year anything I can find lying on the road would work. baseball bat, machette .... but it depends on the type of zombie also.

A good enemy will inspire your weapon of choice...here's my OTHER plan - take food generators and gas to local Best Buy..heavy metal shutters completely shut off EVERYTHING. Tunnel through the wall to ... DICKS SPORTING GOODS for guns, ammo and all kinds of camping gear.

Seal off tunnel, hook up the genny and play xbox and watch movies till 1) Zombies get all the weak ones 2) I run out of movies to watch
Only problem with this is sealing the tunnel and maintaining a food supply.

Apparently, its why DHS has ordered 1 BILLION rounds of ammo, including 450 MILLION hollow points for domestic use.

1 BILLION ?? HOLY STOCKPILE BATMAN!

Very Very exciting. I love the responses and some of you are pretty hard core. I love it.

My huz and I have discussed why we think its so much fun to talk about what we'd do and boiled it down to this very simple thing:

Who among us doesnt want to believe we would kill to protect our own?

And who among us doesnt have the secret wish that the obnoxious neighbor that keeps running over your mailbox would be the FIRST person you'd shoot in the head IF they turned into a zombie? :steer:

Dont take me too seriously...Its all in fun. I swear.

cummins powered school bus would be great.... wasy to armor and fortify.... reliable, easy to work on

The huz agrees completely and has sworn this long before we joined this motley crew here..

My wife and I started watching TWD after we watched a marathon of season one. Now we can not watch as Dish network dropped AMC from their line up.

What I don't get is all the fascination with the "Zombie REsponse Vehicle" stickers. A bit over the top for my taste.

To each his own, right? Some like diamond plate, some like stock...a zombie sticker is at worst, easily removable.

I love this conversation...nice change from the mundane day to day stuff!

Tell me about...I dont know if its a celebrity 11 yo thing...my 11 yo is pretty weird too - I cant imagine the stigma involved with being a celebrity while developing your sense of safety and who people are around you when you are so easily recognized by masses of people.
