Yeah...I LOVE getting crap cleaned up as best I can.
Makes for a fresh start when Im not getting REALLY ANAL and going through the WHOLE motor that way.

I bet you wind up painting it! It doesn't take long and you already have it all nice and clean. You sure would hate to have the bare spots rust. Your OCD is showing through as previously stated!

i used fel-pro stuff and it's been fine running it hard for several thousand miles now.

Also remove the oil level sensor on the pan and get rid of the old clip brackets as well. Won't need either. Hey is this the start of your build thread????

You guyz saw my SOA build thread, correct. I go NUTZ on the cleaning of the components.
I actaully HAVE been considering a paint job for the block and valve covers...
Black and blue...just like the color of the blotch rig. Well see. I might get bored and do it cuz Im saving up for the adapters I need.
Ive GOTTA have something to do or the bug in my skin start to crawl...and that really bothers me.

NO, I DO NOT want to start my vortec build thread with the title "vortec woes..." Its kinda like BAD LUCK I think.
