Nice setup, even better that it's in a 60! Still after some nice newer tan cloth seats.
Volvo makes some of the most comfortable seats out there (source, owned Volvo's spanning 15+ years).
It's no accident. In the 1960s, Volvo set out to redesign their seats and make them the most comfortable ever. To do this, they didn't just guess, or trial-and-error. They consulted experts in the muscular and skeletal system-- orthopedic surgeons from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. When you consult with people who regularly perform surgery to correct people's backs and spines, you get some of the most ergonomic and advanced seats in the car industry.
My new favorite for a comfortable seat is from the E46 BMW. Very comfortable for long trips.

I just inherited a 2004 S40 and haven't found a real active group so far.

I'm probably pretty biased, though.
I tried hard to make that S40 a nice car again, but it wouldn't have it.
