depending on *when*, I would be interested.

hopefully it would fit into my schedule.

maybe a weekend in July?
there aren't any event's planned except for Black Hills (which I would LOVE to get to, but probably wont...)
15th-16th?
22nd-23rd?
29th-30th?
Will this be a campover type deal?

It would also be pretty cool because we could get a feel for the trails before the Pig Run

I thought the same about seeing the camping area and other trails before the pig run. 29th and 30th may work... looks like Lynn has already booked that day for maintenance... here is her quote from the Ruasch Calendar:

"The plan is to work on a local road about two miles from the park office. Large items like washer, frIgs and tires will get piled at the road side for a bucket truck to load into the trash truck. Smaller items will be bagged and placed in a pile for pick up.

Meeting time will be 8am at the office and start work ASAP. We will do some form of lunch at the office around noon/1ish. The rest of the day is free to go wheeling (free of course).

Please bring gloves, strong backs and good spirit to help the township clean up the area."

So.... who can help? Chris and I, others?

I could come and pick up some trash. I have never been to rausch and would like meet some of the other cruiser heads. Plus cant turn down a chance to break something for free.

Is any one going to rausch on the Sunday the 25th for the trail maintainance? I think im gonna trek up with 2 other people from allentown if any one is interested.
Chris

no, not this month, sorry.
plus I have some stuff going on this weekend.

Jeff, would it be better to go duing the scheduled event you mention, and get mixed in with a bunch of other people (not a big problem, but cooler if it's cruiserheads) or another weekend?

I'm up for either, just wondering what might be the best.

Also, is this going to be a camp over event, or are we just showing up for the day? Camping might be better as we won't be worrying about when we'l get home at night

my vote is to stay as long as one can... If I can stay one night, that is great. I personally have to play it by ear due to my newly (to be born) daughter in July. I will do what I can and have fun doing it because it will be for a good cause. I think if we can meet when she has it scheduled, it would work out most productively for Rausch.

Depending on my employment situation I would be game for a weekend of cleanup and trash pickup. Keep us posted on a date.

Well you fellas missed a fine monsoon day at rausch. Did some cutting with Witter. Then it started to rain:frown: . So we went muddin':D .

Thanks for posting them for me. I bucked up for the star today. Now I just need to learn how to use it.:D Didn't take many pics as it was pouring. Most of them were of the heeps. I was the only one who brought a camera. Maybe I will try to post some of the other pics if you want to see the trails. I can't wait to wheel with some cruisers.:grinpimp:
