For that kind of money there's quite a few options. Nice looking but sheesh, out of my pay grade.
 
Yes, it's pricey. As far as what's commercially available in the US it's not far off the price of a decked out Adventure Trailer with a huge RTT. I'd much rather have the VMI. Most Overlanding solutions are perfect for 2 but don't really work for 4. What else is in it's category that can comfortably and practically sleep 4 with easy setup and takedown?

While not as tried and true, this is very similar to the Australian UEV 490 at a fraction of the price.

I don't think we could put a Baja RT pop up in the same class. That's a psuedo off road vehicle.

There is the livin lite off road Bear Cat, but I would probably put that in the same category as a Baja RT. It's more for dirt roads, not real back country. Plus it seems like it's too wide and tall with lousy clearance.

Just received a VMI trailer

I received a VMI Explorer trailer a few weeks back. So far I am very pleased. It is however, too cold to do much with it while it is so cold in Chicago.
