What the forum is for right?

First, does a three wire harness/plug on the injection pump signify that a tach pickup is present?

One wire to the fuel cut and two to the block side of the pump.

Anyone have a close up pic, that the IP plug part number, be it male or female, is visible? Or know the part number for either/both?

With a 12V fuel cut, is a range from 12.8-13.2V acceptable for continued operation?

Have many more, but starting with those should answer a few, to eliminate redundancy.

best take a look at the IP to check for the pickup sensor . ..

yes

shoot !

The fuel cut solenoid will operate on a fairly wide range of voltages maybe down to 7v.You can even activate it with a few torch batteries.
The blue and brown wires are for the tach pick up.

Destined for chat, regardless, if history proves.

24V solenoid wouldn't operate with less than 12.2V.

I don't know why the secondary (US DS the solenoid was wired to) would drop below, be it some parasitic draw or a weird isolator I can't figure out, but it would.

Swapped for a 12V.....still issues, but user error that I don't care to admit to, at this time, as it's still stinging.

That said, either battery can read +12.2V, yet the ignition wired supply will show +14V, so prolly didn't need the 12V solenoid.

Good news on tach sensor, as that's what I have.
