Hello,
My '93 has recently started having a vibration. I don't know if there was an event that preceded it as my son is the main driver. I did query about any possible curb slam or high-center event but he assured me there wasn't. (We'll see.)
I looked through other threads and couldn't quite match up my symptoms. I thought I'd share so I don't go on too wild of a goose chase.
It seems that the motor mounts may not be implicated because it is associated with speed rather than rpm. Is that a valid assumption?
Another possibility seems to be UV joints.
Any validation of what I am thinking or other suggestions is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Ron

- frequency of vibration increases with speed
- more pronounced under acceleration
- decreases when coasting
- when coasting, if shift to neutral, vibration remains the same (not associated with transmission?)
- vibration remains the same when shifting to 2nd or low (not associated with engine RPM)
- the knuckle seals have been leaking for a while
