2013 LX570 113,000 miles. When coming out of a full lock u-turn, steering wheels remains drastically off center for a few seconds while driving straight. Also have major wobble going over bumps definitely worse at Highway speeds. My mechanic says it sounds like steering rack. I came across a recall for LS460’s that showed faulty VGRS was cause of the off center issue.

Any VGRS issues for the LX that would cause this? Troubleshooting tips for my mechanic?
Alignment is good and all caster etc. is in spec.

thanks

Others on here have experienced the VGRS causing a temporary off center steering wheel. Run a search for VGRS and you’ll find some informative threads. The wobble may or may not be related but others on here may chime in with ideas about rack/ball joints/tie rods/etc.
