For those of you looking for a very good speedo repair and electrical shop in So Cal, I found one. I highly reccomend A1 Electric & Speedometer, 1610 W. Artesia Blvd., #A6, Gardena, CA 90248-3200. (310) 217-0491. The owner is Marcel Gutter.
Marcel is very versed in Toyota (all years) and almost any vehicle. His work is priced right, and when Marcel says it will be done in two hours, he means it. Marcel also specializes in air conditioning, speedo claibration, custom speedo cables.
I was able to order a replacement speedo from CDan (thanks CDan for once again the FAST, PROMPT SHIPMENT!) and have Marcel reset the new odo for with the current miles.
