Inkpot and I made the new link for Brittan's bender today. Converted it so the bend pressure is only on the bender head, the frame is now only a stand. Didn't need to move any of the die holders, the ram clears them.

Tube notching is much easier with a plasma cutter!:hillbilly:

The first pic is fully retracted, second is where the ram is highest, third is fully extended, the ram at the lowest point.

Need to get some big tube to test it! Looks like it will work great.

The first pic is how everything lines up. The second is the new upper bushing. All of the bolts now have spacers, so can be properly torqued. This eliminated the tweak/misalignment that caused it to bind when fully closing.

Don't really need one for vertical bending, just use a magnetic angle gauge or digital level.

Is the tubes bending start point 0° at horizontal/level?

Yes, well, depending on die/setup, close to level. Put the digital level on the end that will not be bent, zero it, place it on the side to be bent, bend until the level reads the number that you are looking for, done.
