My husband and I live in Costa Rica and have been importing BJ40s into the US for a couple years. We can also get very nice HJ70s with little to no rust, left hand drive. The price ranges from $15,000-$22,000. The price includes shipping to Miami, and all customs fees and taxes. We can also import to Canada.

Are there any mid- or long-wheelbase 70s? Or pickup/tray backs? e.g. HJ73, HJ75?

That Blue one is called a Land Cruiser II on craigslist...so that is a Prado with the 2L or 2L-T?

I found a few BJ70s, but no HJ70s on craigslist...

I don't really use Costa Rica Craigslist to search for cruisers. That blue one happened to be in there. The HJ70s here have a 3.5 engine in them. I don't know anything in particular about the ones pictured here, I just posted photos of some I found for sale here. I have seen flatbed HJ73/5 pick ups here also.

That displacement makes more sense for a PZJ, but when was the PZJ first introduced? I think about 1990?

A LHD PZJ70 is cool in my book...

Heck, a LHD BJ70 that's not from Canada (i.e. little rust) is cool in my book too!

I'd still like to see pictures of a mid wheel base 70 and I'd be curious to see what engine it has. I suppose most of them are LJ73 Prados...
