Valve job or more?

1981 40 2f 168000 miles Runs rough just above idle, and can hear uneven exaust at the tailpipe. Im thinking valve leak

Compression test shows #1=125 #2=125 #3=110 #4=110 #5=115 #6=115

New fuel filter, carb rebuild,plugs,cap,rotor, clutch,brakes etc
lotsa wrenchin!
Adjusted valves the right way with fsm procedure...checked them again...the clearances are good to go

Can I do just the valve job or am I looking at the re-ring as well. How do I know how far to go.

Source for rings/valve parts?
Also need new 3mm silicone vacuum line $or is tooo expensive...where di I find good aftermarket line?

Do a wet compression test. Put a little oil in the cylinder and see if that bumps up the compression since it will help seal the rings. If it goes up its the rings if it stays the same its the valves.

+1, that's would I would do. Would tell you for sure if your valves or rings were bad.
