How easy is it to change the valve cover gasket? It looks pretty straight forward, except for the bolt under the intake... My brother and I were changing fluids this weekend on his '94 LC and I noticed his valve cover leaks pretty bad...many of the bolts were loose (some very loose) so I tightened them up and my bro cleaned up the oily mess to see if it still keeps leaking. Also, I called the dealer for prices on the gaskets...$23 for the gasket and $10 each for the spark plug tube seals! $10 bucks each...why so much? Also, is there a valve adjustment? Many newer Toyotas have some sort of shims (?) and they say there is no valve adjustment needed. I saw a pic on another thread of the head sans valve cover, and I couldn't tell if there is an adjustmnet or not...

Thanks,
Chris

Save yourself some $, call CDAN(800-432-6668 ext8). Shipping is free if order is over $100 and I think its inexpensive if not(not sure, as I've yet to come up with an order for less than $100). You'll be glad you did.

Hey Dan
Not offered to the Great White North?
Not being attached to America can suck.
