Valve adjusting

So first of my wifes ride is a 91 LC. Do I need to take of the Air intake chamber to remove the valve cover? My FSM does not say to but I believe that I have read where some one said it needed to be removed. So becides the valve cover gasket, The four little seals for the four bolts, do I need any other gasket/seals to botton her up when I am done. Does the PCV sit in the valve cover, I haven't looked yet, At work till tomarow and then straight into Anchorage to pick up parts. Thanks for the help, I am hoping to pick up everthing on this trip.

You need to remove the top of the air cleaner with the rubber intake hose. It is much easier if you take off the throttle cable and kick down cable from the throttle body. The engine needs to be warm to adjust the valves. I also remove the bolts from the water pipe on the block on the passengers side to make it easier to remove the valve cover. I also remove the bolt at the front for the fuel line to help with the valve cover. No need to remove the throttle body as the vavle cover will be removed with some wiggling. No other parts needed, yes the PCV is in the vavle cover. good luck later robbie
