Vacuum Hose Break Down?

I was wondering if anyone knows the total amount of 3.3mm and 5mm vacuum hose required to redo a 1981 fj60? I am getting ready to go through the whole thing and would like to just buy the stuff before getting dirty.

I replaced all the small stuff on mine with 3mm I believe and I bought 40 ft. which worked out good. Probably be ok with 35 ft but I wanted some extra. The 5mm big hoses I am not sure how much it takes.

It's been a couple of years and this was for my 62 but I got all new silicon hose from http://www.hosetechniques.com/. I didn't buy a kit, just bought the good quality silicon stuff by the foot. I'm pretty sure that they've done 60s at their shop though so give them a call and see what they did.

between 30 - 35' -- pick up 40' and you won't go wrong.
IIRC, you'll need about 10' of the 5 mm but don't quote me on that....

Contact Cruiserdan on this board (vendor section), as he knows how much hose you need, and if I recall, it's fairly cheap. He works at a Toyota Dealership in New Mexico, and gives TLCA discounts.

Buy the silicone stuff from Mcmaster Carr. Works great!
