Well, the time has come to sell our beloved Land Cruiser. I absolutely love this thing but it’s just not working for our growing family of four. This thing is an absolute billy goat that just goes anywhere you point it and makes it seem effortless. She’s in great shape and I’ve put in a lot of work into keeping her going for many many more years.

Asking 22,000 or best offer.

The one mechanical issue I haven’t gotten around to fixing yet is a steering gearbox leak. It’s a very slow leak of power steering fluid, but it does actively drip onto ground when it cools down and that O ring shrinks. The plan was to use Redhead Gears to rebuild it with the upgraded 105 series sector shaft.
She has some cosmetic flaws as well. The dash pad is cracked right behind the steering wheel, as well as the driver side door arm pad. The rear bench seats are pretty worn as well with a few spots where the stitching has given up. On the exterior there are chips in the paint from rocks and some tasteful pinstriping. The clear coat has started peeling off the fender flares. Previous owners had some bodywork done due to backing into a light pole and the passenger rear quarter panel paint doesn't quite match.

Here's some up skirt shots. I tried to capture as much frame and problem areas as possible. No rust on the frame at all, things are wet around the old pan gaskets and definitely covered in Sierra dust though.

And here's a shot of the steering gear box where I think it's leaking from. It just needs to be rebuilt...or a subscription to Lucas Oil.
