i want to put a dash mounted ( or at least inside the cab) vac guage.
where is the best place under the hood to tap off of?

i saw here recently that timing , and alot of other diagnostic issues, were best handled by a vac guage.
someone posted he had a guage mounted inside, to keep tabs on things.
my reason is that i seem to have an issue with my dizzy. i cant keep it tight, so maybe the guage will alert me before my timing gets too far off.

The brake booster vac source has a fitting screwed into the intake manifold. The fitting is actually a T with the large hose going to the booster and the small hose going to the idle up solenoid for the AC. T into the small hose. Its close to the firewall and easy to route into the cab.

i knew you'd give the right answer, thanks 60Wag!

i found on SOR's page a breakdown of the intake/exhaust set up, showing several "tee" vac fittings
which one is the on i should use?
