Strange he's not on ih8mud.
I wonder what the tranny is? Its a 71 so the 3spd has been swapped but with what......a later model 4spd or something else and did he keep the original t/c with lower ratio or did he swap that at the same time with the 4spd?
A 350 in a 55 engine bay.....wonder if it overheats?
Not that I'm interested or anything foolish like that.

T-18 with granny low and LC t-case..... O.K. you cruiserheads approx. what will be the final Crawl Ratio if it has stock diffs. I'm thinking of changing to a camping 4x4 that has more cargo room than my old 4Runner but I really love my 80:1 crawl and "narrow" stance in B.C.s overgrown trails.
I don't like the idea of overheating that I've heard about with V8 conversions.

It's posted on Bend Oregon CL. Good thing is Oregon has no sales tax.
A 55 will be about same track width as your runner, but taller boxier body.
Not familiar with t18's but you won't get 80:1 low range in a cruiser with just a transmission swap alone. Probably be 60:1 or less.
