I want to drive out to Colorado and Utah for a 5 to 10 day expedition in june
for now its just an idea but I would like to know if any other cruiser owners would be interested in something like this.
the idea is to spend as much time as possible in trails, mountain passes, and enjoying the view.
not really trying to go rock crawling just some exploring down dirt roads some chalenging trails and some cold ones at the end of the day.
lets say June 15 to the 22 start in Denver end in Moab

This is in my bucket list, unfortunately wont be able to do this until next year.. sounds like an awesome trip!!

I'll join that cruiser convoy. Do you have a planned route?

Just remember that many of the higher passes that are wheeling trails may still be covered with snow.

If you get the chance, I HIGHLY recommend a trip down highway 12 through Boulder and Escalante, UT. Probably the most beautiful stretch of highway in the continental US. There are some fun little trails up on Boulder Mountain, too. Namely chokecherry point trail, which ends on top of the highest plateau in the US. My family has a place in Boulder and I'm always looking for an excuse to go. Keep me posted on the dates and maybe I can swing something.

Couldn't agree more on the 12. My son and I will be traveling for three weeks in June so may be around your neck of the woods. Since I don't have an itinerary yet its hard to say where I'll be.

interesting, but as mentioned, many passes will probably still be snowed in. (plus we'll be running rubicon)
