One more thing, I was wondering if you all thought that this tire sticks out too much?

That depends on your state motor vehicles department. In Oregon, it's unlawful for the tire to stick out past the edge of the fender.

I just put a set of adapters on my M416 to change the BP to 5 on 4.5. The hole in he center is 87mm and it sits on the edge of the dust cover on the axle, not flush on the drum. Has anyone else had this problem? The bolted down true and didn't wobble at all. I would just like them to sit flush.

bud, for safety, I would have them turned at a shop, doesn't seem like you need much but take both the spacer and the hub to them and have the peace of mind that comes from doing it right and safe. It really shouldn't cost much, it is a simple turn on a lathe.

Hope that helps man.

I just took my wheels off and both and both spacers are cracked! I just emailed a guy that makes custom wheel spacers. He is going to make me a 2 piece adapter with a 4" center hole to clear the center cap. Kinda like the ones in the first post of this post. I want them to sit flush against the drum.

Socal, do you have any pics of your adapters? How did the install go? Did you use loctite or antiseize at all?

Chris, yeah i have some pics. The install went great. Took like 40 mins. Didn't have to cut the studs or anything. The 1.9" set my 80 series wheel out perfect. I used blue locktite even though they said they've never had too.

Thanks for the pics! That's cool that you didn't have to cut the studs, on the m416 they have really long studs do to the type of lugnut that they use.

Did you use blue loctite on the lugnuts that hold the first adapter to the hub or on the allen screws that hold the second part to the first part, or both?

Can't wait to see pics of it painted, it will be
