I have power to the pump, but it is not pushing fuel. I have atleast 10 gallons in it so there is plenty of fuel. So my next thing to do is to put a fuel pump along the frame to see if i can just push some furl up to the engine to get it running. Have learned alot already on this thing in one day.

So, after a bunch of looking around and going to a few places i could not find a frame rail fuel pump that would push enough for fuel injection, so i went ahead and got the intank pump and hopefully this week i will get some time to pull the old pump out and put a new one in. I am not dropping the tank though for all of this.
Now i am wondering if 62's were under the tank recall also. Cause i can see this one is not a new / really good tank.

Just wondering if there is a recall if it has ever been done on mine? How do you figure that out? Also wondering if it has anything to do with the stutter sometimes..maybe not enough fuel pressure? Sorry Hijack over.
get vin call any dealership and they can tell you
When you call, they will tell you that your truck is too old and that it's not in the database. Tell them that you're trying to make sure that there is a potentially life-threatening recall for your fuel tank and that's essential that they tell you whether or not the work has been done. That will get the info out.
It was a PITA to get the info for my rig years ago.

Needless to say, i had just put 10 gallons of fresh gas in there the other day. Tank is completely full right now, something tells me i just threw away 35 dollars worth of gas. Think it is mostly water in there.
