Darin, do you still have those 35" BFGs that we took off to get the rims I have? You willing to part with them?

I texted you but you must not have got it:hillbilly:

My phone is in the other room right now, but yes i got them still.

You want to get rid of them? I'm in the market for some DD tires for this trip now.

Sorry for the hijack Darin.

That 62 body does look nicer than the rotten roof model you've got in the shop now, looks like it'll be the candidate for a new build.

Put in the fuel if ya got it. I'm hoping for some rain tomorrow so I may swing by when yer around to hear her run.

Holy Crow you got that for cheap..... good score buddy.

For that price it was hard to pass up.

Getting ready to go pour some gas i it now and crack a line open to get the air out and try to start it. You might be able to hear me in Charlotte if everything works the way i would like it to.

Pretty much done with rain for today, maybe some spotty stuff now but the storm has passed.

I got 5 gallons just incase you did not come by / bring any.

No luck on it running right now. Turns over great, and all fuses check out fine, but not getting any fuel in the lines when i cracked them open and turned it over. Even after a minute of trying. Time to pop the back open tomorrow and see the pump and down into the tank.

Funny thing is also, did not get any power to the cold start fuel injector plug while turning over either though. Hmmm. Maybe computer. Going to have to figure out which kick panel it is behind and swap it out for my good one.

Going to try my darndest to drive this thing off the trailer under her own power.

I think it is behind the PS kick panel.... not sure on a 62 though

Have chased it down to i am not getting any power to the pump. Not sure yet where it gets its power from but will probably just try to give the pump 12 volts to get it / and the truck running.

So looking thru the manual.

Looks like it could be the following.

Fuseable link / Efi main relay / ecu / Circuit opening relay.

Only thing i do not have a warm and fussy about is exactly where the Circuit opening relay is. Picture in manual not too clear. Looks to be either by the manifold or by where the radio is inside.

Power gets to the pump via, ecu to efi main relay to then the circuit opening relay to the fuel pump.

Nope but if I can find the FSM I may be able to locate it. Not guaranteeing that it will be the same place as a 62 though.

I have a copy of it on my computer and it just shows it toward the back of the manifold , possibly under where the radio would be. I know my 1989 does not have it by the manifold. It was dark before i could do all my homework here and go out and look. I am heading out to Napa right now. Then i am going to pop my head under there and give it a try.
