Used 3/4 Tub for 77 FJ40 - what years fit

Have searched with no clear answer. 77 FJ40 pretty rotted out so looking for used 3/4 tub. Can anyone tell me what years will fit and most importantly allow use of existing 77 top and 4 hard doors. A little fab no problem - just would like to know what I am getting into BEFORE I buy it and it does not fit - thanks for any help.

75 to 78 for a bolt on fit, 64 to 74 if you want to work at it .have to mod back for amby doors and side door latches for later doors .79 up if your a glutten for punishment good luck

73 is also a close fit. It used the long jump seats. 74 and later are set up for the short jump seats with a rollbar. But the front seats, gas tank and transmission cover will still fit. Before that the tub will line to the cowl and and the body mounts should work back to 64 and even back further on the early hard top models. But gas tank, seats and tunnel cover will be different. Anything after 78 will not match including body mounts. Like shelfboy1 said it would a nightmare.
