Too bad the DOT won't adopt a similar regime as the FAA with respect to non-certified aircraft ("Experimental"). Who would mind a 70 or 105 with a placard inside saying "DOT Non-compliant" and a 20% excise tax to grease the bureaucracies?

Soooo How Much is it?

well bad news. I heard back from IPOR, and apparently they originally were not sure what they were getting. It is actually a 2012 70 series without the body. Still very pretty cool though.

^Yup, talked to Cam friday too. Still a very cool platform for someone out there.

Still no price

Wasn't somebody selling that same chassis, same story maybe 6 or 8 months ago? Not saying it is the same one, but I remember a ~100 mile XXX-76 chassis off a DOD roll over:meh:

What motor/tranny combo? What model, 76, 78, 79? If it's a 2012 and a diesel, then either a 1HZ or 1VD with the R151 or H150.

Yes Beno that is why I called you Friday.

This is in fact a 2012 70 series with the 1HZ and 5 speed. We do not have this yet as we are still talking with the owner to possibly purchase it. However the drive train would sell for about 10K as it was a brand new cruiser that had major body damage and the body had to be scrapped as it was an up-armored vehicle.

If you have any desire in this drive train please feel free to call us and I will give you the details that we have.
