Too bad they have to find someone else, but if it doesn't pay, can't expect much less.

Hey Jeff!!

Are you coming up with anyone from Bluegrass Cruisers? I was a member there in 2009. I'm not sure I met you though.

Uwharrie, according to the USFS, will be open to the public on the 28th of March. I recommend you call ahead and reserve one of the Group Camp sites that exist inside the forest. Not only are you a stone's throw away from the trails, but there is ample parking for tow rigs.

Is there room for anyone else to join your group??
 
Hey thanks guys! Yup I'm sure there's room for more rigs to ride, I'm happy to meet up with other cruiser folks.

I'll go ahead and call for a group camp spot, that'll work great for us.

I live in northern ky so I have wheeled with the bluegrass group but this is just a couple guy from VA and a couple guys from NKY meeting up at Uhwarrie to wheel.

I'm wheeling Friday sat and Sunday am.

What are the trails like? I've read the USFS page so I understand there's a variety. Are there any closures like the Rocky Mountain trail? Others?
