Hey Y'all!
I hope all is well and I hope to see all of you soon! Let's all throw the November 21st work day on our calenders now before we make other plans. Lots of maintenance needs to be done on Dickey Bell (our adopted trail). The hill climb needs two short rails and one long rail along with about 4 posts. This summer has been quite a busy one, so I'm hoping to see a good turn out here in a few weeks. Drag your friends and families, even the little ones..they can pick up trash! I have a few of J**P friends coming out to help out also! Thank you in advance and hope to see you at 9 am on 11/21/2015 at Uwharrie Hunt Camp!

I will be shocked, appalled and distraught if I am unable to make this workday. Hell, I might even drive up on Friday and camp out...

As of now am in .

Sent from my SM-N910V

:princess: Clearance is a go .... I'm in.

Just payed my dues and joined the cause. I will be new to the group but will try to make it up there. Is there anything in particular that I would need to bring up with me. Or just a good back, pair of gloves and gallons of sweat?

That's it!

Update from USFS

Hi Everyone – The next work day is November 21 at 9 am at the Uwharrie Hunt Camp. The projects will be installing guardrail and signs on Dickey Bell Trail and armoring RML trail and Dickey Bell Trail and maybe a couple of other trails depending on how much cobble size rock we have stockpiled on the forest. We’ll need vehicles that can haul posts and drag guardrail from the Arrowhead Campground spray field and vehicles or trail trailers that can be used to haul rock from our stock pile to the different locations on the trails. I hope to have this all flagged out before the work day. I do have some of the sites flagged out on Dickey Bell Trail that we didn’t get done last time.

I’ll have the specific number of posts & rails needed for the different guardrail installation sites & I’ll have the sections of armoring determined for the rock placement before we meet up on the 21st. Make sure to have your work gloves, boots, water, food, etc.
Bye - Terry

I'll be there. We are camping Friday and Saturday night at Arrowhead.

Well snap, maybe I should camp as well! Darin, if you could check that out, that would be awesome

Anyone else able to make it out this month? I've got a seat in Moonshine for someone who wants to ride.

Trying to pull it off, but hadn't posted yet because I'm still not sure.
I've recently been told, I need to commit to more work days in my back yard.
If I get out there, I'll be camping Friday and Saturday.

Here is your week of reminder that we need you this weekend!

Hope to see y'all this weekend ready to work and maybe even some camping. it's going to be cold, so come prepared!

With my 80 still not done, and the 60mph vibration still going strong in the 40, and the fact that I'll have to leave around 2PM or so..... I'm thinking I'll just drive a.... ehem.... car. unless:

Anyone going up early on Saturday and have to leave earlyish? IE: anyone with a functioning LC wanna give me a ride?

How late in the day will you be working? I am doing the 11:00am trail ride at ORTC and was going to come by in the afternoon.
