Why did you need to remove the pilot bearing? Also I didn’t know the bread trick would work with the needle bearing I had in there.

Matt, video was an example of what we did. From what I recall there was a bearing sleeve that had to come out for the tranny to fit/match up but @Trollhole can confirm.Why did you need to remove the pilot bearing? Also I didn’t know the bread trick would work with the needle bearing I had in there.
That's really beyond my pay grade but my guess is that Marshall felt that it was easier to switch over the smog stuff than chase down possible rough running rabbits.....his shop, his time, he was the expert, his call!Why did all of the smog equipment go back on the motor?
Did you swap the new distributor and plugs in?
