HAMOM: Help A Member Of the Month, Something UC hasn't done in a while or on a scale beyond one member going over to help another (most recent: @IcutYourCruiser helping @CruisinTiger) Of course with Trollhole's locally, it's sometimes easier/simpler to just take it to him....
We have a need to do a 3FE engine swap for one of our youngest members, Conner Sweeny (@Montanaconner). Conner is a Clemson student who has been driving a Grey FJ62 since his junior year of high school but toasted his engine this past fall and has been working towards getting it back on the road. To love on Conner and his family, a group of men at Grace Church have raised enough money to buy a good 3FE engine for his FJ62. Conner and his dad will be going to pick the engine up next week and we will look to knock out the swap on May 12th.
Post up if you can come and for how long. We will look to have CFA Biscuits provided for breakfast and CFA Sandwiches or Pizza for lunch for those wrenching during those times.

Long but highly productive day yesterday getting the 3FE swap out 85% done! Huge thanks to Marshall @Trollhole for opening up his shop and overseeing the work & too often doing the work! Don Cain @yamaguchigumi and Chris Eby @ceby for being wrenching beasts the whole day!!
We will look to finish up the evenings of Monday 5/21 and Tuesday 5/22 starting at 5:30 until ??? Probably can get it all done in just one evening but just in case.....

Had a great time doing this. I’d like to point out the highlight of the day was @Trollhole demonstration of hydraulics. Who knew Chick-fil-A sandwich buns would have a place in the shop other than going in your mouth. Learn something new every day!

This is pretty much what happened! I think we used 3 pieces of bun from extra CFA Sandwiches we had from lunch....I'm sure the butter helped!
