Upstate Cruisers now has its very only coffee blends!!!

A friend of mine, Ildi Revi owner of Leopard Forest Coffee Company Welcome to Leopard Forest Coffee! in Travelers Rest SC, is willing to mix custom blends for UC and put our very own labels on the bags. Ildi and her husband both own a coffee store in Travelers Rest and a coffee plantation in Zimbabwe. At the Annual Meeting we had a 'Dark Roast Turbo Blend' for the raffle and several people expressed interest in other coffees. We need a minimum of six bags of coffee (any size) of each type to order.

Here are the blends I was thinking about:

2F Turbo - a mix of dark roast and espresso

200 Series Decalf - a decaf blend for those who desire such

80 Series Locked and Rocked - a finer coffee blend of Peaberry and Estate AA+

I still have to finalize prices - but it should be less than that Starbucks place .

Sizes available are 1 lb and 5 lb.

If anyone has any interest please post up in this thread.

Sign me up for the Dark Roast 2F Turbo Blend, Steve. Never tried it but it sounds good! The decaf label is funny.

Not to hijack but I was listening to public radio Sunday night and Leopard Forest got some pub on a program discussing Travelers Rest and your upcoming bicentennial.

It was a good show and I learned a good bit about the area, people and history.

More specifically, it featured sisters who are planning to open a cafe at the hardware store on main street. I've only been through TR on the perimeter but after hearing the show I want to swing through town the next time I am in the area and hit the cafe and coffee shop!

Yeah, TR is growing - sorta. The coffee shop is pretty cool and the new restaurant will be nice too. I will like having places to hang out without having to go into Greenville.

Yezzir - It looks like we are getting a pretty good order here. We will have occasional orders in the future. The minimum order is a case which = 6 bags. I need to clarify if that is a case per coffee type or a case total. I think it is per coffee type since we are getting custom blends and labeling. I think we will have a little slack with that on this order since we have a good many bags across the board. I'll try to get a hold of the shop today.
