well it's been a while since I've posted anything on here, thought I'd show ya how my lx is holding up, 286k and still running strong!

Would be curious to know what you have had to replace along the way?
 
the only major problem I've had with it is the tranny, she blew at 263k while driving up to a place called max patch in the north Carolina mountains. Only other thing I can think of is a frion leak I have in my AC so it gets recharged every month. Replaced tranny and she drives like a queen.
 
Oh and my AHC is still working great and it's not rare that I'm raising it up to get through some mud.
 
That's a bummer...that is one of highest mileage 2000's I have seen that blew the tranny. That throws into doubt the assumption that once you reach 150K, you are pretty much set on the tranny being fine.

Was there any particular symptoms prior to the transmission going out?
 
Well at the time I wasn't driving. I was letting a family member drive up the mountain, supposedly it threw a red code saying AT oil temp but the idiot ignored it and kept going, but before that it drove fine just with the normal clunk that we all know
 
Should be ok unless you move to Cali and are worried about passing emissions . . .
 
Is there any mileage gain with them? I already have a cold air intake and the Borla cat back
