My freshmen year of college will be coming to an end here in about 6 weeks! I figured it was time to start thinking about what I would be doing this summer with my truck. Right now it is just an 87 extra cab sitting on an earlier solid axle standard cab frame. Everything is stock and running good. Found a pretty good deal last night and picked up ready to run dual cases with both cases stock, a set of 5.29's, front 3" TG springs, including a front hanger, shackles, and flip kit. I would like to do 63" chevies in the rear and pick up and aussie locker for the rear as well. I still need to get hysteer, shocks and shock hoops, and im sure some other miscellanious stuff.

I need to keep this street legal so I can bring it to school with me next year and drive it to the park on the weekends. Looking to get 35's or 37's but I need something that will wear okay on the street. Anybody have and suggestions? Thats it for now.

Sounds like a good plan, don't get swampers if you plan on streetability.... and make this thread useful( pics : )

I might be selling my 35" MT/Rs soon to get some Iroks if you would be interested. Also, make sure that the truck has a bumper height below 30", mud flaps and the tires don't stick out the fenders. You run the risk of getting pulled over in this area, I had problems with my Tacoma and was only running 33's, when I swapped to 35's the fun really started.

I will have to keep those guidelines in mind to keep it street legal I guess. Really dont like the look of flares on the mini trucks but I guess I can deal for now. I would be interested in your tires, when your ready to get rid of them let me know.
