Hey eyeryone,
So the shop felt that the carb needed to be rebuilt because of the rough running after the head gasket. So I dropped the truck at the shop to have the carb pulled off to be sent out to be rebuilt. He calls me about two hours later and tells me that he did not have to remove the carb and he found the problem. The issue was the acc pump diaphram had a hole in it , and it was pumping gas into a vac line. So for a $20.00 part from Toyota, I was back on my way. I like honest shops! THe truck runs perfectly (KNOCKING ON A LOT OF WOOD!!!)
