Well I was removing the poor wire job on my truck and replace with the loom that came with my LED bar , (after two years)

and look what I found...

both are sheared off... Any one know the part numbers ? These hold the AC line on top of / over radiator.

thanks

your the Man ! ^^ I will place my order this weekend ! Has anyone else seen this fail like this ?

My rubber vibration isolater also just broke like You have in your picture...

The one on the passenger side broke, but driver's side is fine..

I will replace both for good measure.

Hey Beno,

Which part numbers are we looking for on just the rubber bracket clamps for both sides?

Unfortunately it doesn't appear you can order just the rubber vibration isolator...it only comes as the entire bracket (part # 88718-60880), and sells between $33 to $40+, depending on where you purchase.

$66+ for 2 failed pieces of rubber. Brilliant. How often does the metal bracket fail vs. the rubber...in Texas heat?

Do yourself a favor, assuming the metal bracket is good. Find a rubber vibration isolator mount of the same specs and replace that instead. It's an M6 thread, approx. 10mm of thread length on both ends. The rubber cylinder is about 20mm diameter by 17(?)mm high.

I got this part on Amazon:
uxcell Rubber Cylinder Anti Vibration Isolator Mounts Damper 20mmx20mm 4pcs
for $10.41 with free shipping.
It sits a couple mm higher than OEM, but that appears to be fine.
There's even 4 in the set, so you'll have another pair should they fail again.

They don't have metal plates on the ends of the barrels like OEM, but I'm not sure that's necessary...they're up against the metal bracket as it is. Besides...you'll have 2 extra ones anyway.

I second this, and was really happy to find this post. Sharing a link to the ones I bought just to help anyone else out...

uxcell 25 x 20mm Rubber Mounts,Vibration Isolators,Shock Absorber with M6 x 18mm Studs 2pcs

The ones I got were 25mm wide which fit perfect. The studs were longer that OEM but they fit fine.

I've used the Amazon isolators for a couple of years now. Happy enough—they're cheap enough to replace as needed, which has been a couple of times so far.

They definitely won't last like OEM, but then almost nothing at 1/6 the price ever does. Glad this thread popped up—just used my last one.

These are often broken - mine broke too as they got old and brittle.

Not sure the cost of the replacements: I drilled a hole through both halves of the isolator, and used a bolt from the bottom and a matching acorn nut on top.

I'll keep an eye on them but if they last me 3 years I'll be happy. My brackets were zip-tied together for who knows how long.

I am an OEM nerd though so I may shell out the money for the real part at some point.
