under-body sealer?

I am looking for some info about under-body rust preventative sealers, not for the frame but for the body shell. I want something that is chip/scratch proof and will of course keep out moisture. something easy to apply and touch-up is a plus and with minimal prep for the hard-to-reach areas.

it seem a bedliner like linex would be the more durable solution, but the textured finish would be harder to knock mud off of and clean. Maybe por15 would be better in this regard.

So let's hear it guys, what works and what doesn't? what's best under body sealer?

I've been experimenting w/ POR and I'm pretty happy. Its tough but you have to follow their prep steps. Where I've prepped the metal properly you can't beat the POR off w/ a hammer. Where I haven't followed prep (in areas outside where I wanted to paint but I'm a sloppy painter and paint outside the lines) the paint will come off with a fingernail. I haven't used it on the underbody yet but plan to later this year.

POR-15 works well with the proper prep, I used the stuff on the frame and drivetrain of my FJ40 and it's held up well over the last five years. I've also used Zero Rust with slightly better results, better adhesion and it seems to withstand abuse a bit better than POR15. Wurth makes some very nice undercoating and sealers, I believe Mercedes Benz uses the stuff on their vehicles, but it's expensive. The do-it-yourself bedliner (Duraback, Herculiner, etc.) would work well, some of it is available with a smoother texture, it stands up well to abuse.

I used both POR and 3M Rocker Schutz on my restore, I think it was over kill but I wanted a slight texture in a paintable option and 3M under coat seems to be very good stuff from all I have read and researched. As far as the POR goes I have no complaints with it either, great stuff.
