2003 HDJ100 TD later type throttle body (back end of engine) done 120K miles, not been messed about or treated rough, suddenly dropped to tick over when accelerating out of a junction, checked all the plugs and pipes etc.
Fault code from OBD comes up as 19(2) Accelerator Position Sensor Circuit (DL SW/Range).
Stuck a genuine new throttle pedal assemble on and same fault exists,
It starts lovely and will rev but only if the peddle is pushed slowly and not past half way, if you do bip it quickly it drops to tick over and management light comes on and then will not rev again, restart and back to same procedure again.
I’ve changed the fuel filter, cleaned throttle body (which wasn’t really dirty), checked all plugs around engine and pedall, just at a loss for what it could be, open to ideas please guys…..
