Wow! It would be great to load up in one of those sweet rvs and 'Cruise' the USA. Wonder if anyone is building these on a newer Toyota model truck? Very nice. Please post more if you find them.
OMG that 80 is sick. I'd like to see a similar set up on an HJ47.
The 80 has been around for god knows how long.
The Hilux with its 3L engine is way overloaded,in fact it's probably illegal.
With the massive overhang at the back and the weight on board ,you would be better off with a US made truck and slideon camper.
And you would have $10k left for fuel

I was also thinking the Hilux camper has got to be awfully slow with a 2.7 -4D- neet idea though.

LOL The 80 has a ladder to nowhere at the rear and the roof rack up front.
I kind of like the 80 in its own ugly way. A good 4wd vehicle and an excellant looking camper,but somehow they dont compliment each other

The 80 seems strange to have such a crazy conversion done, and no cooking facilities. Its been on many posts the past couple of years - I think I remember looking at the ad right when it came a couple of years ago and its still for sale. I wonder if anyone has been driving it or if its been sitting the whole time.
