Uh oh! What's this leaking in my front passenger foot well?? (2 Viewers)

2003 LX, 225K miles. Noticed some drops on my foot as my son was driving along the interstate... Some mixed driving, surface streets and then interstate... App 86 degrees, had been driving for an hour.

Any idea what's leaking? It's the black plastic thing in the foreground... You can see a little drop hanging in the pic

Probably the heater core for the HVAC system. There is a port that is on the opposite side of the firewall in the engine bay. Check to ensure it is not kinked, blocked or otherwise obstructed as the condensation from your AC will likely backup into the cab like that.

There is a small gasket that goes on that little panel, mine has been leaking as well. Order and install the new sort of S-shaped gasket and it should be good. Make sure to check the AC drain too of course but that is my bet.
