I was completely sold on the Nitros, but after I ordered them from Nitro Gear I was informed that they‘re backordered until July/August. My poly bushings are shot and can’t stand the squeaking, so I ordered the SPCs from Filthy Motorsports in Boulder. Well this seals the deal for me. I was torn on Nitro or SPC. I was a pretty PO'd that I needed to buy new UCAs because Nitro decided not to continue supporting their old design. The rebuildability was what I liked about the design! I guess now I don't really have a choice if I want the arms for this summer.

Yep I’m in same boat. I bought the last set Filthy had in stock but just got an alert today the Slee has them back in stock.

I’ve got the (older) SPC UCAs on one of our 100 series, and have had no issues so far, but the adjustability seems to come with additional points of failure, and the proprietary ball joints are a bit of a turn-off.

Between the (previous gen) Nitro, (previous gen) SPC, and Trail Tailor, that I’ve got on the vehicles in my driveway, I prefer the Trail Tailor, but a Blackhawk based UCA would be my second choice.

Im Glad to hear that you e gotten that mileage and I agree with you about the adjustability. I’ve had the old version Nitros since the loft was installed 3-4 years ago and have had no alignment issues. Only issue I have is the noise from the poly bushings.

Have your SPCs stayed relatively quiet? That is my biggest concern currently.

Of the 3 that I have, Nitro has had the most noise issues, but excessive amounts of grease seems to quiet them, for a while.

The older SPCs that I have, only have a ball joint zerk, but they have been relatively quiet (so far).

Had the SPCs installed by Toytech in Denver yesterday and squeak is gone. Makes it so much more enjoyable to drive and alignment is spot on and drives great.
Also had my icons rebuilt by 303 shocks and reinstalled.

I’ll update you all after a few months of driving and off-roading. Really hoping these hold up with OCD greasing of the ball joint.

Nice. There is something therapeutic about solving an issue with these trucks! 303 is a great company to work with.

To anyone paying attention to this thread, I went with the Trail Tailor arms. I will report back when I get them on as a contrast to the SPC. I ultimately decided on the TT arms because they are rebuildable using 3rd party available parts. They use Curie joints on the vehicle side and a 07-11 Tundra ball joint. If TT hadn't had some stock inbound soon, I would have just gone with the SPCs.

My only minor bitch about the TT UCAs, is having to use a zip tie in place of the original little threaded bracket (same on the old Nitro UCAs), other than that, they’ve been great so far.

Yes, Tim @ 303 is great to work with and the guys at Toytech were easy to work with as well for the install.

I reached out to TT asking about availability on his UCAs, but didn’t hear back. Had I known theyre coming I would’ve possibly waited for them. Oh well just glad its quiet and driving well.
