I have looked at every possible chrome or shiny wheel for the 85 blue FJ60. I think chrome looks the best on the blue cruiser.

The only chrome wheel I could find with the correct back spacing, lug and bore is the US Wheel 97-7660. Is anyone using these wheels or heard about these wheels?

I am looking for the tall skinny tire setup and am planning to put 235/85r16 tires on these wheels.

U.S. Wheel's 97 series wheels are steel wheels based on the modular design. These wheels feature 10 round holes with a simulated bolt-in center for a 2-piece look. A high-luster chrome finish gives them that show-quality look. They're available in both standard and reverse offset models to fit nearly any combination. Reverse offset wheels have less backspacing and more dish, which may interfere with some brake and wheel opening configurations.

I like the spoke wheel. Cheaper than getting originals and getting them re-chromed but same stock look. Thanks for posting!

Spoke version is pretty much the standard for most people, there is also a D-Window version that many people get.
Thing is that the backspacing is not that big of an issue because a lot of people will run small spacers to compensate. I have been wary of the spacer thing however it seems like many people are just fine with them and run 4"+ backspacing wheels.

I am trying to make only functional updates to the FJ60, the PO started to make the FJ60 into a off road beast (ARB bumpers, body armour, OME lift). If I could find 31/9.50r15 tires I would keep the stock wheels.

Thanks for the insights into the spoke wheels.

Now I just need to figure out if I go with 6 or 7 inch wide wheels, then the tire search will begin....

Those wheels belong on a chevy silverado. Or a jeep. Roll with the stock chrome Land Cruiser wheels wrapped in 33x10.50-15 BFG ATs. Classic set up and nothing looks better. Raised White Letter, of course.
