Tyre sixes for stock 2003 Tacoma TRD

New owner of a 2003 Tacoma TRD.

Can you school me on what tyre size I can fit keeping the stock suspension ?

265/75/16 (32") unless you want significant rubbing.

Truck has on now 265 70 16....i guess this not the OEM recommended size ?

265/70/16 is stock - around 31", and is probably a P rated tire. 265/75/16 is slightly taller and more prevalent in the LT tire line.

agreed. that's what I run on a Stock TRD. I get slight rubbing at full turn.

You won't notice. I've been running that tire size for 120,000 miles.

You can also throw your FJ wheels / tires on it if youd rather upgrade those

Your speedo may be 1 or 2 mph off, and presumably the jump from a P-rated to an LT-rated tire will had some weight and rolling resistance, but otherwise it's such a minor difference.
