Phil, I got the trailer weighed today. 1940 lbs. That is with 33" tires and a spare. No water. Tent weighs 159lbs. My Turtleback also has a 2nd battery and an inverter adding to the weight. About the same as my DIY build believe it or not. The TBT has bigger tires and a swing out with table. So it isn't quite a fair comparison. When I got my old trailer weighed my gear weighed around 300lbs. Could easily be less. I just packed the trailer with as much junk as possible and had it weighed again.
