I have a 1990 JDM HDJ81 RHD.
I had a brake light and a turn signal bulb burnt out so I replaced them with the closest looking American bulbs:
Turn signal: 1156A (Amber bulb).
Brake: 1157 (Double filament).
Since replacing these, now when I use my turn signals they flash normally for about 5 flashes, then they flash very rapidly as though 1 bulb is burnt out (but they are all working). This only happens when the engine is running. With the engine off, but the key turned on for electrical power they all flash normally.
Bad ground possibly?
Bad flasher unit?
Other electrical issue?
Thank You in advance!
