Turn Signal Bulbs Work But Not Parking lights?

I have researched the forum but could not find an answer.

The bulb works for the turn signal but when the parking lights are turned on I get nothing on both left and right sides? What would be wrong?

When your parking lights are on the T/S don't work, but they do when the lights are off?
Or your P/L work, but the T/S don't?

for the first, it sounds like a bad ground. remove the ground wire and clean the body and connector.
for the second, check the dash lights. If they are out the fuse is blown and you might have a short to ground. If they work, you have an open somewhere.

Sorry I did not make it clear. The T/S works, it is the parking lights that do not work, anytime.

is this only the front? the yellow ones below the headlights? IIRC they only blink no park, the front parking lights are the ones next to the headlights that only park no blink

RavenTai, I stand corrected you are right. So to correct myself the ones NEXT to the headlights do not work when the light switch is in the mode in the picture.

The problem is I just picked up this LC and it is my first one. Of course it did not have an owners manual, got one coming from C-Dan. So I just assumed the ones below the headlights were the parking, regardless I have no front parking lights whether below or next to the headlights.

The ones below the headlights are turn only. The ones next to are parking light only. They burn out easily and are not noticed by a lot of folks. It would be easy to have one burn out and nobody noticed it until the other one did as well.

yep the ones next to the headlights should be on in that position, I just replaced one of these this weekend, it is a 5w #168 wedge style bulb, if your instrument lights are also out check 15A the "Tail" fuse

to replace that bulb remove the most foreward outboard screw under the hood near he top of the headlight bezel and then gently pull straigt foreward of he parking light it will pop out giving acces to relamp

Thanks fellas. Yeah I just thought it was strange for both to be out but who knows how long the bulbs may have been burned out, will put in new ones.

Also as we speak I received my manual from C-Dan.
