Any way to turn off the overly aggressive seat belt warning? I can not find that in the manual.

Also the rear seat reminder is unnecessary for us and I’d like to turn it off too if possible. But can’t find anything in the manual.

The rear seat reminder can be disabled from either "settings" or "customize vehicle" in the infotainment (at least in the GX).

People report successfully turning it off using Carista app. I don't like Carista for their subscription method. I think If it's accessible from Carista then techstream should be able to turn it off.

I hate the seatbelt warning, nanny BS. Why can’t this be turned off?

is this a joke? both my toyota's from the mid 2000's have seatbelt (aka idiot) warnings

we will eventually make it to cupholder related complaints i just know it

They are audible alarms, that don't turn off. The beeps get louder and louder until you put your belt on. Not just a light on the dash.

The 200 LC beeped for maybe 10 seconds then shut off.

250 stays beeping indefinitely, if your belt is off.

I was backing it out of the garage after an oil change and it started beeping.

I could understand if it started beeping after 10mph or something close to that, but it starts beeping immediately.

Mini-VCI J2534 (xhorse) adapter works to connect to GTS (Global techstream). Allows one to purchase a 3 day pro subscription and do anything the dealer can. All seats (US 5) (other market 7) can have the audible part of the seat belt warnings turned off
